Terms of Service

Last Updated: 06/30/26You must read through my terms of service before commissioning me.
Please read through everything carefully!By commissioning me, you agree with everything listed below.

• I have the right to refuse your commission for any reason I deem appropriate.• 100% of the payment must be provided upfront via Paypal invoice.• There will be no refunds once a commission is complete.
• If you request a refund before I start, you will receive a 100% refund.
• If I am in the sketch phase, you may get a 50% refund (this does not apply to sketch type commissions).• Please provide a clear reference of your character. Something like a Toyhouse link is highly preferred. I will not draw from a written description of a character or from AI-generated images.
• Characters with complex designs may cost extra.• Please provide details for your piece (expression, pose, bg, etc. when applicable). If you do not, I will make those decisions myself.
• Feel free to tell me about your character! I can get a better feel of the character that way, though it is not necessary.• I will send 2-3 WIPs for you to review. Let me know if any changes need to be made during this process!
• I am open to redlining + edits of the WIPs I send if it helps me understand what needs to be changed.
• Maximum of two revisions per phase.
• Extra fee required if you require more revisions.
• I will only offer more revisions if I was at fault for inaccurate portrayals of your character(s). I will not make any changes to your piece once I have finished it.
• WIP phases sent to client for revision:
- Rough Sketch
- Lineart (may be skipped if lineart did not change greatly from the rough sketch)
- Flat Colour• The turnover can range anywhere between 1-12 weeks.
• A rush fee may be applicable if you need your piece done in a short amount of time with little notice.• High quality PNG files will be delivered including versions with and without my watermark via a google drive link (other formats available upon request).
• Google drive links may be cleared after a certain period of time, so please be sure to save your files!Intellectual Property Rights:• I retain shared rights of your commission to use for portfolio work, social media posts, and other promotional content.• Work in Progress pictures may be posted to my socials while I am working on your commission.General Artwork Permissions:• My art is not to be used for commercial or monetization purposes unless we have discussed it beforehand, which would come with an additional fee.• Do not not edit my artwork in any shape or form unless we have discussed it beforehand.• Do not use my artwork for any AI training/applications/programs or NFT’s.• Please give me proper credit when it’s appropriate (Instagram is preferred for general artwork credit, and please use my Toyhouse if you’re posting directly on Toyhouse: @Cheremtasy for both).Original Design/Adopt Permissions:• Reselling a design for what you bought them for is allowed.• Do not resell a design for higher than you bought for unless they have extra art.• You may not sell a design that was given for free for RLC (real life currency), however you can use them in trades.• Do not use my designs for any AI training/applications/programs or NFT’s.• You will be provided PNG files with watermarked and unwatermarked versions. Please do not post the unwatermarked versions anywhere publicly.• New owners who have received my designs through trades or sales must also comply with my TOS.• Making edits/changes to a design is allowed when creating new art of them.
• Only minor changes/edits are allowed if you are editing the original art I made of the design (eg: removing some stripes on a character’s body, changing a character’s eye colour, etc.).• Please give me proper credit when it’s appropriate (Toyhouse is preferred for designs and adopts if you are posting them directly on Toyhouse for credit, otherwise Instagram is preferred for general credit: @Cheremtasy for both).

If there is something I did not list (such as a species, for example), please feel free to ask me about it!* I am currently only offering human art for head/bustshots and chibis.** Things like blood and minor wounds are okay, just nothing too extreme. I will not draw any kind of sexual content.

Below are examples of my current commission types! These are subject to change over time and not guaranteed to be permanent. Please check back for new types in the future! The pricing below are base prices, and complex characters and designs will cost extra. Prices are listed in CAD, and are subject to change in the future.
